Ferdinand Pascual Aguilar (born February 5th 1953) is better known by his stage name of Freddie Aguilar or Ka Freddie Aguilar is a folk singer of the Philippines. The most famous of his songs is singing “Bayan Ko”, which was adopted as the national anthem for the people’s movement to Marcos’s regime. Marcos administration during 1986’s People Power Revolution, and for his hit song “Anak”, the best-selling Philippine music album ever. He is also heavily linked to Pinoy rock.
